Last year around this time I wrote down some things I wanted to remember about Ariana at 3 and 1/2. This year, I thought I would do the same.
Here are the things I want to remember about Ariana at 4 and 1/2.
+ She is about to finish her first year of preschool.
+ She recently passed an evaluation and is being bumped up to the German Immersion Kindergarten class for next year. That's right, we're skipping right over Pre-K and going right into Kindergarten! Ekk!
+ She loves ballet, tap and gymnastics.
+ She's full of spunk and sass and is always making people laugh.
+ She still hasn't quite mastered a cartwheel but we're getting there.
+ She loves dinosaurs.
+ She's the pregnancy patrol in our house!
(The to love is a baby in mommy's tummy)
+ She's learning to read some sight words and is starting to write her own sentences.
+ She loves Disney movies and her favorite princess is Snow White.
+ She is always finding pet snails, picking wildflowers and chasing butterflies in the backyard.
+ She wants to be a gymnastics teacher, Mommy, and astronaut when she grows up.
+ She really wants a pet cat. She already has a name picked out, Sparkles.
+ She is always on the go and full of energy.
+ Some of her favorite foods are pizza, shrimp, mushrooms, cucumber, asparagus, yogurt, grapes, ice cream, and apples.
+ She loves music and picks up the lyrics to a lot of songs.
+ I often find her lip singing to Adele in the backseat.
+ She loves painting our toenails for us.
+ She's starting to say things like "my bad", "whhhhaaattt" and "Oh Em Gee". Sometimes it feels like we're living with a teenager instead of a 4 year old.
+ She's very adventurous and loves trying new things.
+ She always keeps her sketchbook in the car to draw and color in.
+ She's extremely excited to be getting a baby brother in September.
