P64: Melon

This weekend we went with friends to a wine festival here in Germany, and there were balloons. Lots of balloons. Ariana got a big lion, but Patrick from Spongebob is where I found melon this week. I also found some melon colored flowers but my husband agreed that this was more different, so this is what my choice for the week is. Kind of out of the ordinary right?

P64: Raw Sienna

This past week my family and I went to the Miami Seaquarium for the day. One of the best parts of the trip was the sea lion show. They were so cute and had such personalities, they had us all laughing at their crazy antics. I spent a long time after the show watching them swim and taking pictures. It was only afterwards that I realized that they were a good match for the color this week.

Key West Sunset

Key West has some of the prettiest sunsets.

I enjoyed sitting out with my husband, watching the sun go down, clouds roll in and beautiful boats sailing by.

We even got lucky and witnessed a surprise vow renewal. It was so sweet! They had been together for 30 years, highschool sweethearts (like me and Rich) and had 2 daughters.

This picture below is seriously one of my FAVES from the trip!

I love the bird in flight in this next shot!

It made me want a sailboat, bad.

Key West Days

Our vacation to Key West was so nice! The beach was so pretty, the margarittas were excellent and it was all just so relaxing and fun!

Sometimes you couldn't tell where the sky ends and the ocean begins.

We ate at Margaritaville! 

And enjoyed drinks as appetizers.

The restaurant and pool area of our hotel was really pretty and then even had messages in bottles as table decorations.

They even had some pretty parrots in huge cages.

The hammocks were enjoyed by all.

We saw some huge ugly reptiles roaming the grounds!

And some cute little ones!

Key Lime Sherbet was a favorite!

Of course I had to have my picture taken at Catherine Street!

Everyone enjoyed snorkeling in the pretty waters at Fort Zachary Beach.

We even found a live conch in it's shell.

Grammy and Ariana had a ball together!

And we all got a little sun.

Havana 1, a new Cuban restaurant was yummy and so was their Key Lime pie!

Of course we all gathered together for this shot at the southernmost point in the US!

Smather's Beach had pretty palm trees.

But, Fort Zachary was still our favorite.
