About Me

A little bit about me:

Hi! I'm Catherine, but most people call me Cat. I'm 28 years old. I love creating things and photographing things. My family and I live in Germany and love it! Traveling to different countries is always exciting!

I have always loved photography ever since I first had my own camera. The summer before my senior year in high school (feels like forever ago haha!) I took part in a summer program called Rising Stars at Savannah College of Art and Design. There, I took photography and drawing classes and absolutely fell in love. That is where I got my first "real" camera, a Nikon FM10. It was only a 5 week class, but there I learned about shutter speed, f-stops and how to develop my own film. There is nothing like spending half a day in the dark room and seeing your images appear on paper. Ahh, I love it!

I'm always learning new things about photography and striving to capture better photographs. I recently upgraded to a Nikon D7000. Check out what's in my camera bag to see what all I have.
