I had my green picture all set and ready to go on Saturday afternoon. Then, I went outside and there was this pretty green butterfly floating around the flowers! I knew I had to capture him. Makes my first shot seem so lame, I'm not even going to tell you what it was.
He was hard to photograph but ultimately I got a pretty clear shot of him sipping some nectar!
Don't you just love his wings and their brown spots like a leaf?!
Nature is so amazing!!

Beautiful photo (I don't believe your first attempt would have been lame!). I love the light in this photo.
ReplyDeleteI don't believe you'd take a lame picture, either!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you stuck with this little guy long enough...what a wonderful shot of him sipping up his dinner! My 4 year old son loves it, too!
Wow! That is just perfect! God's creation is beautiful in deed!

ReplyDeleteWOW, WOW, WOW!!!! This is amazing! Spot on spring green and great contrast against the purple flower and dark background!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful composition and amazing light!
ReplyDeleteI did the same thing. Trashed the spring green shot I planned to use in favor of one taken at the last minute. And I bet mine was lamer than yours! ;-)
ReplyDeleteForgot to tell you that your little garden friend is adorable. A perfect find for a spring color.
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful, pretty and delicate! Nature at it's best! Thanks for your continued participation at project 64, I love your photos!
