I GOT A MACRO LENS!! WHOO-HOO!!

Richard bought me the Nikon AF-S VR Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED lens for my birthday. This thing rocks! Feel free to hate me a little bit, I would hate me to. I've been drooling over this thing and wanting a macro lens for a year!

Ever since reading Highlights magazine (remember that thing!) in like the 3rd grade and falling in love with the "guess what this is?" segment (zoomed in macro photos), I've loved macro photography.

Here are some of my first shots with it this afternoon.

So there you have it. My first couple of shots, I can't wait to get more acquainted with it and see what kinds of shots I can get!
