Nebraska: the home to Kool-Aid, Warren Buffett , and of course the Cornhuskers!
We lived in Omaha for nearly 3 years, but it's time to move on.
Here's a look back (some random pictures)
(Taken the first week we arrived in 2007 by a cornfield)
(Looking back at the city from Heartland of America Park)
(Eating sweetcorn)
(Getting lost in the cornfields hahaha!)
(The home we started our family in. The front door when we brought Ariana home from the hospital.)
(Going to a Husker football game)
(Gotta love Husker nation)
(The bunnies that resided in the backyard)
(The bunnies that played in the front yard in the snow)
(Our cozy home)
(The sidewalk in front of our house where we put our initials)
(My first time learning to shovel snow)
(Taking Ariana out in the snow for the first time)
(Her first time sledding)
(Hayrides at Vala's Pumpkin Patch)
(Vala's, seriously my favorite place! I'm so sad we can't take her this year, they have the best stuff for kids.)
(Our first Air Show at Offutt AFB)
(Building our stone patio together, summer 2009)
(Our lovely shady patio all finished)
(The Testicle Festival. Yea, that looks like a chicken nugget but guess again...bull testicle!)
(Making friends in Gymboree class)
(Many trips to Omaha's awesome zoo!)
(Our Germany Staycation last September, BEFORE we even had a clue we were moving there!)
(Ariana's First Birthday)
There are many, many more pictures I could have posted but decided not to. We went to lots of festivals and such while we were there. I thought it was nice to look back on some specific things we did in Omaha together.
I know I haven't been posting very many crafty blogs lately but this IS my life and art blog. I promise I've got some cute creative things to show you very soon! I've been too busy with the move and getting settled here. But like my twitter said this morning "Call me Stella cause I think I've got my groove back!"
