Christmas Q and A (last post of 2011)

Tomorrow I'll be driving to Frankfurt to pick my Mom and Sister up from the airport! I may not be back on the blog until after the new year. Busy with family and all! This is their first trip to see us here in Germany and I'm excited to show them around, take them to Christmas Markets, maybe even Paris! So, I'm leaving you with a little Christmas Q and A that I've seen floating around and warm wishes for a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!


Egg nog or hot chocolate?  Dang, how can I get stumped on the first question. I'm a lover of both, depends on my mood. I've been wanting more hot chocolate this year though.

Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? Santa sits them on her blanket

Colored or White lights? white, I think colored lights are kinda tacky

Do you hang mistletoe? Nope, but I would if I had some!

When do you put up your decorations? Usually the weekend after Thanksgiving but this year we waited until December 1st.

What is your favorite holiday dish? STUFFING!

Do you remember your favorite gift? my Nikon from my sweet hubs last year. I use it everyday!

What is your favorite holiday tradition? I love decorating the tree, with Christmas music playing and getting out all the old ornaments and talking about them before putting them on the tree. Oh and of course playing my fireplace DVD!

Whats on top of your tree? a gold star

Which do you prefer giving or receiving? Who doesn't love getting gifts? I really love giving them though, I especially love when I've found something that the person is really going to love!

Candy canes yum or yuck? yum!

Favorite Christmas movie? The good old classic A Christmas Story, Prancer and Mixed Nuts, it's a funny wacky Christmas movie but I love it!

Favorite Christmas song? Baby It's Cold Outside, White Christmas, Let it Snow

Heck YES! I love Taco Bell. My favorite is the Cheesy Gordita Crunch!

2.  Are you going to the Eclipse midnight showing in your city/town? if yes, do you have an entourage? if no, what do you think about the people who ARE going?  BEEEEE HONEST ;). ha ha ha. 

No, I'm not going to the midnight showing :( I wish I was, I'm jealous of those who are going to the midnight showing. If I'm watching something DVRed and I see the preview I have to stop and watch it! I can't wait!

3.  Do you exhibit Road Rage?  If so, what do you typically do to show your distaste for a stupid driver?

I'm usually a pretty calm driver. I hate when people ride my ass for no reason though, don't do that, it just makes me go VERY slow to piss you off!

4.  Who is your primary inspiration? Why?

I have to say my Mom. She raised 2 kids pretty much on her own and did amazing! She's been through a lot and stood strong through it all. She owned 2 businesses and now runs another one. She is very inspirational.

5.  Did you play with Barbies when you were little?

YES!! Until I was WAY to old to play with them. I loved my Barbies. I had a whole box of them and a homemade cardboard 2 story house and  Barbie car and all her friends.

6.  What was your WORST hair do, ever?  Cut? Color?  post a picture if you have one.

Umm besides the embrassing "I'm just a kid and don't know how to do my hair, my mom jacks up all up" ones from grade school. I've never really done anything drastic to my hair that I hated.
 

7.  Are you political?

Yes, but I don't talk politics with people if I can help it. Too heated. I hate people that say they don't care. How can you not care? Don't get me started...

8.  What do you think about Harry Potter?

I wish it hadn't ended. I loved the books (and movies). They were the kind of books that once I picked up I couldn't put down. I've always hoped something magical like that would happen to me.I want to go to Hogwarts!

I'm back!

Sorry I've been MIA for a while. I had a friend here visiting for an early Christmas present. Then I had the joys of someone stealing my cell phone...grrr!! Whoever "Pookie" is, I'm totally hating you right now and you owe me a phone and $80!
