I'm so excited to share my first project that I made on my VERY OWN sewing machine! My Momma has been here visiting, so it was a great time for her to help me start out on my sewing machine. I decided that I wanted to make an apron for my first project. We went to the fabric store and bought a pattern, fabric and other trim. Of course I had to make it more difficult by using 2 different fabrics on a pattern that only called for one and adding lacy trim. The first night we laid out all the fabric and cut out the pattern. The second night we spent sewing it all together.
Momma helping and giving tips on how to make the apron.
The finished product.
I love the fabrics together!
Detail at the top, we added that on our own, made it different from the pattern.
Sweet little pockets.
Pocket details.
Wearing my beautiful work. (Not the best pic of me, I hate that sweater!) But, I love the way the apron turned out. It is just how I pictured it in my head. I can't wait to get started on my next sewing project!!
