White
Bright
Simple
Pure
I went out of the ordinary for the project this week. I bought myself some foamboard and staged a photo. Something I RARELY ever do!
I used the white cake topper from our wedding. Sentimental, I know. I kept it white on white to really let the contours of her dress and the shadows give it contrast. I kept it simple, clean and minimal.

I love this picture. And I'm jealous of your cake topper. Although, our cake topper was red and black chocolate lady bugs, so I can't complain. :)
ReplyDeleteCat,
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! Really, I like it very much.
Perfect image of white, perfect capture.
Hard to do white on white and this is fun because it draws the eye to all the gray and the shadowy areas.
ReplyDeletePretty topper. White on white is tough, but this is lovely.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful, the simple white on white really makes the topper standout! So do you think you might "stage" more shots in the future?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! My daughter had a similar cake topper.
ReplyDeleteLove your white on white shot and how sweet that it is your cake toper! I bought foam board for mine too, so glad I did. I have used it a lot since! Thanks for your comments on my shots. :o)
ReplyDeleteOh my....this is so lovely.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome idea using your cake topper. Never even entered my mind this week. lol
How beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteEveryone is so sweet, thanks!! :)
ReplyDeleteBrooke, it was actually very fun staging my photo. I would definetely do it again, actually I did for my Scavenger Hunt photos this week! The lemon and lemonade. It was out of my element for sure, but I think I got the hang of it, and it was kinda cool! Thanks for the advice about the foamboard!
What a lovely cake topper and wonderful white on white shot!
ReplyDeleteSimply beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love the simplicity of it... it captured my attention and held me as I looked at their faces and down to the dress and back up again. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteI saw this after I'd already done mine and immediately thought of a similar statue I have! It's from our 25th anniversary. Lovely, simple shot.
