Lookie what I got!
I was so excited about it, I wanted to share it.
This is not just another ordinary journal.
This journal is meant to be wrecked!
I'm not sure how I feel about this. It's been sitting on my desk for a few days and I haven't had the nerve to start wrecking it yet. To me books are sacred and not meant to be destroyed. I'm going to have to keep reminding myself that this is the point of this project. I know it will be fun and by destroying something I'll create something cool and interesting.
Slightly nervous
But, really excited!
This will serve as my "before picture"!
Manon first introducted me to this journal on her blog. I saw it and KNEW that I wanted one!
Here are some images I found on Flickr for inspiration. Each page has instructions on something to do to wreck it. This should give you and idea of the destruction that is to come!

I'm excited to wreck this journal!
I'm preparing for a BIG giveaway next month (once I get all my goodies together).
BUT, tonight I'm posting a MINI Giveaway!
Be sure to come back and enter. It'll only be running for a few short days!

Cat

Ps. Would you like it if I made a how-to-do-embroidery post?
my boyfriend's little sister got that for christmas year before last and she LOVES it...she hasn't done it all yet but the idea of such possibility that strays away from the traditional "journal" is exciting! can't wait to see what you do with it. :D
