P64: Plum

I think I found Crayola Plum.

This week I had to break down and go out and buy a box of 64 crayons for my own. Plum wasn't in my small box and I knew it was going to be hard to match.

I was painting in my studio the other day and I looked down at my hands. The mixture of colors layered on top of each other gave my fingertips a pretty purply plum color. I did a little coloring for a color check. And yes, I'm a messy painter haha!!

Wow this angle makes my fingers look funny! I've been hard at work coming up with some new paintings and working on a custom painting too. I usually multitask when it comes to painting. I usually have at least 3 paintings in the works at the same time. Can't wait to share my newest designs with y'all!

P64 participants,  let's get to know each other better. Find out more about me! Ask me a question in this post. I'll answer them next week!

  1. My hands were always stained with something when I was teaching, especially in the first-grade classroom! I think your hands tell a story, and it's a creative one!

  5. Love this. I don't think your hands look funny at all....just colorful. I'll take a rain check on the question, nothing coming to mind at the moment.

  6. Love it! I'm messy when I do anything crafty or creative, when I shoot at the studio I have stuff strung everywhere!
