My Reading List

I recently finished one of my new favorite books. "Water for Elephants" by Sara Gruen. I flew through this book in about 24 hours. It was that good. I'm dying for the movie to come out on video since I missed it in theaters here, bummer.

I love having my nose in a good book, and one of my goals this year was to read more.

Here is my running list of books I've read in 2011.

19 Minutes - Jodi Picoult
My Sister's Keeper - Jodi Picoult
The Weight of Silence - Heather Gudenkauf
Eat, Pray, Love - Elizabeth Gilbert
Horns - Joe Hill
The Snow Falcon - Stuart Harrison
Water for Elephants - Sara Gruen
The Last Juror - John Grisham (currently reading)

Have you read any really good books lately? Do you have any suggestions!?

  1. I just finished Water for Elephants too! I keep raving about it to everyone... I want to go see the movie now ;D

I have read a bunch of good ones.
I think you would really like Everyone is Beautiful. I read that earlier in the year and think that all mom's who love to photograph would appreciate it!

  2. The last books I have read haven't been that great.
I am reading The Other Boleyn Girl.
It is actually pretty good. It's a thick on and I'm not even half way through.
I definitely want to read Water for Elephants!

  4. All the books on your list are good ones! So glad you just finished "Water for Elephants"... I really do think it's one of my favorites. :) Not too long ago, I finished a short little book called "Half Broke Horses." It was a really inspiring story about a woman born in the late 1800s/early 1900s, and she never let anything stop her. It was a fast read, but a good one.

  6. I really want to read that book!!
The last great books I read were the Hunger Games.
Now I'm trying to get through Harry Potter, but I've been so busy that I haven't had much time.
    Then I'm starting Matched!!
