Barefoot Nature Walk

Sometimes you find something totally random and you just have to do it! That's how it was when we heard about a barefoot walking path that was about an hour away. We kept waiting for the weather get be nice enough to enjoy walking around barefoot in mud and water. Finally this past weekend it was 81 and partly cloudy. We packed a picnic lunch and headed out.

It was really fun, our whole family enjoyed getting back to nature! For a couple of Euros each we got a whole afternoon of fun. From wading knee deep in mud, to little obstacle courses, rope bridges and more...all barefoot.

Here are all of the different textures our feet got to experience on the walk. I thought it would be a fun way to document it. Our feet felt surprisingly and amazingly refreshed afterwards too!

Needless to say our 3 year old LOVED it. And so did we!

And in case you are reading this and planning a trip to Germany, or live in Germany, here is the link to the website. Bad Sobernheim Barefoot Walking Path.
