Happy faces and Happy Mail

I love these cute little faces! These are my boys! My babies before I had my baby. They still get spoiled, but not as much as before Ariana came along.

Dislikes: if you are mad at him, he pouts

Paco Bandito: Born April 1, 2001. Chihuahua
Adopted from my sister
Also know as: Brown, Paco Bell, P-bell
Likes: bossing Harley around, being carried around like a baby, playing with is stuffed giraffe (neckie)
Dislikes: our cats, being cold, snow or rain, or wind LOL

Those are my puppies! My cats will have to be for another post :)

The weather is finally warming up around here so we've been going outside in the afternoons and getting some beautiful sunshine.
Of course no good thing goes unpunished...
I've been getting the most horrible allergy headaches for the past week.
I haven't even bet outside yet today and my head is KILLING me!
Spring hates me!

I got the best package from Kiki. She is the greatest, I'm so glad I met her!!

She's been sending me the cutest, sweetest cards, and then this awesome package of goodies!! I love it all!

Isn't this a great print!

I'm in LOVE with the yarn and beautiful fabric she sent! It inspires me so much!

I'm glad that we have become good friends and we've decided to stay in touch as pen pals!

I've had such a good time reading through some new cute blogs. I've meet lots of new people through Janel's Craft Swap. I'm excited to get to know you all better! If you already know what you are making and would love to share I would love to know. I've made one of my crafts (it's a secret) but now I'm thinking of changing my mind (eeekkk!) I don't know what to make, I want to make something cute! What I made is cute, but I always second guess myself! I would love to know what you are making!

Thank you!! Mint Candy Apple and Happy Mail

I want to thank everyone who helped me  find the Mint Candy Apple nail polish in this post that I've been searching for weeks to find! I love it, it rocks! You guys are the best! I looked and looked online for the perfect color. I couldn't seem to find any mint greens in the stores but you never know until you see them in person. I found Mint Candy Apple online but didn't look that hard for it, just randomly when I found myself in the cosmetic section of a store. I loved Amy's nails and asked her what color it was. She told me it was Mint Candy Apple. That's when I knew, yep, that was the color I wanted. That was over a week ago. Then the search was really on. Come to find out, it was a "fall" color from Essie, so of course the stores didn't have it anymore. But, now I do!!

Thanks everyone for all your help! It looks even more awesome in person!!

I like the color against my hair! So pretty! :)

or even sipping some Starbucks, still looks amazing! (Ignore the cut on my finger, I cut myself making dinner a few night ago, it was gross and bled a lot but it's healed a ton!)

Even eating my mint cupcakes it looks so cute! hehe!

Or even me just being silly! I LOVE IT!!!

I got some lovely goodies, some of these are old pics but I just got my laptop back, so sorry for the delayed bloggy shout out! :) You know I love you guys!

Gina and I did a little happy swap. We sent each other a few goodies back and forth to brighten each others days! Thank you!

Last month I had Jamie as my Happy Mail partner. She made me the cutest little painting! Looks just like my blog button! I love it! Thank you!

I did a craft swap with Lindsay. She made me a cute charm bracelet and these other button goodies! Thank you!

We weren't official Happy Mail partners, but Brianna and I decided to be unofficial partners.Thank you!

Sweetheart Jaime sent me these awesome goodies for helping her explain "rustic elegance" to her fiancee.
I'm so excited and love the bow coffee cozy, that is the one I wanted from my Christmas Wish List!! Thank you!

Also, thank you to my lovely girls this month for all my Happy Mail cards!! I don't usually take pictures of just the cards I get in the mail, otherwise you would have tons of pictures on here. I received I think 6 cards this past week.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!!
It's a big deal in Savannah, I totally wish we were there right now :(

Happy Weekend and Happy Mail!

I hope everyone had a good weekend. I LOVE my weekends, I actually get to spend some quality time with my hubby (and that makes me a VERY happy girl!)

Saturday we spent the day shopping and running errands. We hardly ever eat out, so we treated ourselves to lunch at a new Thai place we found. I tried Pad Thai for the first time. I really liked it, and Ariana did too! I took a picture of it but the lighting was so low in there I couldn't get a good picture with my phone ( I didn't have my camera with me). Anyways, it doesn't look appetizing in the picture that I toke, so I decided not to post it on here.

Sunday was a nice relaxing day at home (sort of). Sunday's are for sleeping in and pancakes at our house! My husband makes me different pancakes every Sunday. It's one of our weekend traditions :) We shoveled some MORE snow (haha my exercise for the weekend) watched a little football, played with Ariana, and I did a little crafting.

I finally finished my owl fabric project! I made a pillow! This is the 3rd pillow I've made, but by far my favorite! Here are the results:

 My cute owl pillow!

My felt owl that matches the owl on the fabric. He is handstitched!

cute owl tummy I embroidered

button eyes

I love the fabric so much, I already have another project in mind!

Also, I was excited that the mail came today! No more being snowed in YAY!!! I loved my little package from my Happy Mail person! She is awesome!

FIRST Happy Mail

I love all my cute stuff! I can't wait to use it all! :)

What all has everyone else been up to this weekend?

Happy, Happy FRIDAY!

Yippee! It's Friday!!!

The weekend is only ONE day away! I love Fridays, tomorrow I actually get to see my husband! With him working swings (3pm - midnight usually) it's hard to get much time together during the week. To surprise my hubby, last night I baked my "famous poppy seed bread". Everyone that tastes it, is always begging me for the recipe, but it's a family secret! I make it every year for family and friends and it goes AWESOMELY with coffee or egg nog! I thought, what better way to kick of my December baking (so many things I want to bake for the holiays), but with my yummy poppy seed bread.

Also, on another note, I'm very excited about Happy Mail! I recently signed up to be part of this fun project. Everyone loves getting and giving surprises in the mail, and I can't wait to see who I got! Jamie from Inspired Mess (check her out) created this. Basically you give your all your info, what you like, where you live, what you do for fun etc and she matches you up with someone. Then you send each other a letter/card in the mail, and a small package! I'm super duper excited!!!

If you think you might be interested, feel free to check it out and sign up!

I'm off to enjoy my coffee and a slice (or two!) of my poppy seed bread! Happy Friday!!

xoxo
