Another week of thankfulness. Friends, Music, Autumn.
Friday I was thankful that... Ariana and I got to go visit my friend Andrew and his wife Viky in Heidelberg for the day and spend the night. It was awesome to have some great adult conversation and get away from here for a while and have some fun.
Saturday I was thankful that... I have an awesome Mom who is willing to go phone shopping for us. I talked her through shoe shopping for Ariana at Target!
Sunday I was thankful that... friends who have free weekend minutes and lots of time to chat. I love ya Maggie!
Monday I was thankful that...I lost 3 more pounds!
Tuesday I was thankful for... sunny Autumn walks!
Wednesday I was thankful that... even though I do complain about Germany from time to time, we're very lucky to be stationed at a nice big base. Sometimes you forget to be thankful for things you take for granted - thank you friend for opening my eyes.
Today I'm thankful for... music that speaks to your soul. The Scientist-Coldplay. I love them.
I've decided that every Thursday I'm going to look back on the past week and post something I'm thankful for from each day. I'm hoping I can keep this up until Thanksgiving. Why? 1. Because I try to be thankful for all the little things in my life. And 2. because autumn is my favorite and I want to.
Friday I was thankful that... the weather was great and we had fun shopping at the bazaar on base!
Saturday I was thankful that... I can watch Glee online on those nights when I need to just relax.
Sunday I was thankful that... I got to talk to my friend in Arkansas who just had her 3rd boy!
Monday I was thankful that...they finally came (and with the correct part) to fix Rich's car. A piece of the roof had fallen off the weekend before he left and shattered his back window. See below, nice huh?
Tuesday I was thankful that... Ariana's new gymnastics teacher was nice to her, she needed some extra coaching.
Wednesday I was thankful that... we got to talk to Richard on Skype for a solid hour!
Today I'm thankful that... I indulged in a yummy pizza lunch on base with a friend that I didn't plan to have.
Oh and be aware that some will be silly trivial things, but all the same, something I'm thankful for.
I just thought I would post a random update on my lovely life. I have a few things that don't need an entire blog to themselves...they have to share!
First, I was doing some errands the other day and BAAAM this wiener car pulls up beside me in a parking lot! It was so funny I had to take a picture! I couldn't believe it!

I've had this baby doll, Sissy, since I was 2 years old. She's been stored in the top of my closet. I was cleaning out the closet the other day and got her down and let Ariana play with her. I thought it would just be for the day and then I could put her away again. WRONG! Ariana literally won't put her down. She carries her around all day and takes her in the car and in the bathroom when I give her a bath and everything. It's the cutest thing, to see her with this doll that I loved so much! Sissy is getting passed down!
Here is Ariana at nap the other day. Easter bunny, Snow White, bear, bunny, Sissy, seahorse....and oh yea Ariana! :)
I've been in the mood for glitter nailpolish lately. Usually I don't choose glitter but I find myself picking them up in the stores. Here are some of my new current favorites.
